Our products are manufactured and shipped fresh. To guarantee you the freshest products possible, all packages are shipped Monday through Thursday. Orders placed and received in our system after 3pm on Wednesday through Sunday will generally ship out Monday of the following week.
Advance orders are welcome and will be shipped on the day specified by the customer. To place an advance order, specify the shipping date in the "Special Instructions" section on the checkout page.
General
- Orders shipped via overnight delivery are generally shipped Monday through Thursday only. If you would like your items shipped out on Friday using overnight shipping, please specify that when placing your order. Be aware that orders shipped overnight on Friday will not reach their destination until the following Monday. To choose Friday shipping, specify the shipping date in the "Special Instructions" section on the checkout page. Please be aware that by choosing to ship over a weekend, you are assuming responsibility for the integrity of the package as it will be in transit longer than recommended. L’Atelier Gourmet will not be responsible for temperature damage to packages shipped over a weekend. We reserve the right to ship overnight delivery if we believe heat or transit time may compromise product quality.
- Orders shipped via 2nd day are generally shipped Monday through Wednesday only. If you would like your items shipped out on Thursday or Friday using 2nd day shipping, please specify that when placing your order. Be aware that orders shipped via 2nd day air on Thursday or Friday will not reach their destination until the following Monday or Tuesday. To choose Thursday or Friday shipping, specify the shipping date in the "Special Instructions" section on the checkout page. Please be aware that by choosing to ship over a weekend, you are assuming responsibility for the integrity of the package as it will be in transit longer than recommended. - If you have a special need or requirement, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
- If you are sending a gift, please notify the recipient so they are available to receive the package.
- L'Atelier Gourmet is not responsible for incorrect or undeliverable addresses/recipients. L’Atelier Gourmet will not be responsible for packages that are returned to us as undeliverable - the customer will still be charged. If a returned package needs to be shipped out a second time, the customer will incur a second shipping charge.
- Ice packs and insulation are included free of charge in some shipments during the warm season and / or in packages sent to warm climates. Weather conditions and delivery area will dictate how orders are packed for shipping. During the colder winter months, orders being sent to cold weather states may ship in non-insulated boxes and/or without gel packs, depending on the weather conditions at the time of shipment.
- There is an additional cost for shipments delivered to Hawaii, USVI and Alaska.
- L' Atelier Gourmet is unable to ship to PO Boxes or Military Addresses (APO, AFO and others).
- If you want to SHIP INTERNATIONAL, please contact us, we will take your order over the phone and will let you which products are eligible for International Shipping. Please Note that Duties fees may occur.
- Shipments are not available for delivery on the following days or the day after: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
- Prices are based on product weight and package dimensions. Please note that orders sent to multiple destinations will be charged per address.
- Shipping charges for oversized packages may vary. In this event, a customer service representative will contact you prior to processing your order.
- L’Atelier Gourmet is not responsible for shipping delays caused by DHL, Fed Ex, UPS or any other shipping service due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
